Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. All tools on this page run entirely in your browser. The file you pick is read into memory on your device, converted locally, and offered back to you as a download. Nothing is transmitted to us.

Is SVG to JPG lossless?

JPG is a lossy format, so fine edges may soften slightly. For sharp edges or transparency choose PNG instead, and increase the scale (2×–4×) for a higher-resolution result.

Why is my PDF to Word result plain text?

A browser can reliably extract the text layer of a PDF, but recreating the exact page layout, fonts and images is not possible without a server. The tool therefore produces clean, editable text in a .doc file. Scanned PDFs (pictures of pages) have no text layer and will come out empty.

Which browsers are supported?

Any modern browser — Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari — on desktop or mobile. Keep your browser up to date for the best results.

Is there a file size limit?

There is no fixed limit, but very large files depend on your device's available memory. If a large PDF stalls, try a smaller file or a lower quality setting.
